Wandering Mind

from Clarity by Clidesfeld

about

When Wandering Mind appeared on the 2013 album Sigh, it had a pace closely matched to the urgency of the questions it bellows, though maybe carrying a lighter tune. But when you strip away the loud and large instrumentation, there was a helplessness and concern that percolates to the top.

lyrics

A wandering mind meets a wandering eye
Wondering when I'll reach a low
A passing wave with gleaming light
Swept up in the undertow

I can't contain my nervous shake
And it pumps hard to a degree
It's impossible, I'm awake?
That light was shined upon for me?

I don't care what you do. I have no reason to hide.
I've been waiting for you. Is too late the right time?

Would you still
Would you still if I will
Do you still
Do you still pop the pills

I fell down to live again
Mostly cherished it's not mine
Priceless prize to never win
For me, once upon a time

I don't care what you do. I have no reason to hide.
I've been waiting for you. Is too late the right time?

Would you still
Would you still if I will
Do you still
Do you still pop the pills
Would you steal
Would you still feel surreal
Do you still
Do you still feel the chill
Would you still
Would you still make a deal
Do you still
